Reshaping any path outline

- [Instructor] Alright, now I'm going to show you one of what I consider to be the original wonders of Illustrator, which is the fact that you can reshape any path outline, regardless of how you drew it in the first place using the white arrow tool. And so for example, this basic laptop design began life as a hexagon. And let me show you what that looks like. I'll go ahead and bring up the shape tool fly out menu, and I'll select the Polygon Tool, which allows you to draw regular polygons, in which every side is the same length from the center outward. And so I'll go ahead and position my cursor at the intersection of those two center guides, and I'll drag out like so. Now by default, you're going to create a six sided hexagon. If you want more size as you're drawing by the way, you have to have the mouse button down. Then you press the Up Arrow key and you can see now I have an eight sided octagon. If I want fewer sides…
