It's almost impossible to get a clean tracing of type. Even if you did achieve that, you're still stuck with text you can't edit later. Therefore, the easiest thing to do is reset the typography. In this video, walk through how to do that.
- [Instructor] Remember at the beginning…of the course when we were working…with the image that you see her…and I told you not to worry about it…because we would refix the type a little bit later,…well, this is where we're going to start…refixing the type…because obviously if we tried to trace…this typography,…it would either look really bad…using the image trace feature…or we'd have to trace it by hand…using the pen or the pencil tool…and even then it probably wouldn't look right.…Seeing as these people are coming to us…for a recreation of their logo,…wouldn't it be nice if we just gave them…an update of their logo?…And that's exactly what we're going to do.…
So, I'll zoom out here…and you'll notice I have two art boards…and what I need to do first I guess…is switch the fork and the spoon.…Didn't have that correct…but doesn't really matter either way,…you could have the fork or the spoon up top.…Both look fine to me but in any case,…there we go,…got that all set up.…And now what we need is Bon Appetit underneath.…So, what I have found is a font…
