Repositioning points and segments as you draw
- In the movie, I'll show you how to reposition anchor points and segments on-the-fly, as you draw them. And this is really useful because it's rare that you put every anchor point exactly where you want it, in the first place. So, notice that the trick is to press the Ctrl key or on a Mac, the Cmd key, to access the White Arrow on-the-fly, notice we've got a caveat here, and then you can drag a point or segment to move it. And that's exactly the way it works inside Photoshop and InDesign. So, let's say I've got my Create cursor here. I want to wake up this path by clicking on it with a Resume cursor, so I'll go ahead and click on that end point like so, and then I'll click a bunch of times again. And now let's say, one of these anchor points is in the wrong position. Well, I'll go ahead and press the Ctrl key or the Cmd key on the Mac, to get my White Arrow.
