Releasing compound paths

- In this movie I'll show you another way to fill in a region with color using the Blob Brush that involves releasing a compound path, and I'll also show you how you can modify a simple shape using either the Blob Brush or the Eraser tool, in our case, to create the sky. I'll go ahead and switch over to my document in progress and, as you can see, up here in the Control Panel, there's nothing selected so I'm free to change to fill or stroke color to anything I want. So I'll go ahead and click on this first swatch and select this light shade of green, R140 G198 B63, and now I'll go ahead and switch to the Blob Brush, which again, which now you can get by pressing the B key, and I might increase the size of my cursor just a little bit, and I'm going to paint in several brush strokes here. I'll paint along the top edge of this guy's hair and then I'll paint down the left side of the hair, and I'm trying to be careful this time around so I don't make a lot of mistakes.
