Recolor patterns and symbols
- [Instructor] With Recolor Art you can edit any colors in your document, even patterns and symbols. I'm going to show you just how easy it is to re-color a pattern or symbol for your brand. Good patterns are challenging to create and worthy of their own course, but fortunately Illustrator comes with some pretty nice professionally designed pattern sets. I found this pattern in the Vonster collection that ships with Illustrator. I think it's a perfect pattern for the Groovy brand, except that the colors don't exactly match the Groovy brand colors. With Recolor Art that can be quickly changed. Before getting started with Recolor Art it's important to make sure that the brand colors have been grouped in the Swatches panel. Because single color swatches are not available inside of Recolor Art. If we take a close look at the Swatches panel here. You'll see a group here of the Groovy brand colors.
