- [Instructor] Have you ever wanted to try out your design in an alternate color scheme? The Recolor Art feature allows you to very quickly cycle through many different color palettes. This powerful feature will give you an amazing amount of control over the results. It's really great for making alternate versions of your art and experimenting with new color schemes. When working with Recolor Artwork it's best if you make a color group first in the Swatch palette. I've already done that. I actually have several color groups already made. And these are things that I want to try to incorporate when I use Recolor Art. The next thing that you wanna do is you wanna select the art that you want to recolor. So for right now I'm going to zoom in a little bit to highlight all of the icons and select them all. You need to tell Illustrator which items you want to include in the recolor.
