Real-world inserting and deleting
- In this movie, I'll give you a Real-world demonstration of inserting and deleting points. So, let's say I want to draw this sort-of black shadow that's on the inside of the statue's head. My Pen Tool is still selected, and it's got a sparkle next to it, so it's going to create a new path outline. And notice that Illustrator helpfully goes ahead and shows me that I can snap to that anchor point right there. But it's not going to get rid of it because that anchor point, in the background, is part of a deselected path. And I've got another one here so they light up in order to provide me with specific alignment and I have the wrong fill-in stroke. So, if I click here for example, I'm not going to be able to see what the heck's going on in the background there. So, I think this is a good time to get rid of that fill and I'll do that in a different way. I'll press the Ctrl key or the Cmd key on a Mac, which gets me the White Arrow Tool, because that was the last arrow tool I used here…
