Join Kevin Stohlmeyer for an in-depth discussion in this video Quick options for the Radial Menu and Grip Pen, part of Illustrator: Using Wacom Tablets.
- So now I'm going to show you how to set up…your Radial Menu and Grip Pen…for very useful options inside of Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.…To start, I need to add my application…up in the Application bar at the top of my dialog box.…Simply click the plus sign…and if you have Illustrator currently open…you can select it in Currently Open Applications,…or Browse to find it on your hard drive.…Select the app, hit Okay.…And we're now ready to set up a custom setting…for Adobe Illustrator.…I'm gonna start with the Radial menu.…
Now there are a few things on the presets here…that don't really apply to Adobe Illustrator.…Namely, the Step Backward, and Step Forward.…Since Illustrator has multiple Undos,…these keyboard shortcuts won't really apply.…So I'm going to select Step Backward…and choose a different Keystroke.…So this keystroke that I'm going to use…will allow me to go in and change my brush settings…to a really fun sounding brush.…What I'm going to use is the Blob Brush.…And we'll take a look at that…once we get inside of Illustrator.…
