The Plane Switching widget

The Plane Switching widget

- The Perspective Grid Widget allows you to add objects to a specified Grid Plane without having to use menus. The Widget appears in the upper left corner of your document when active. To change the Perspective Grids, simply click on the Associate Plane in the Widget. The Plane will highlight and, now, any object I draw will be snapped to the Plane. To deactivate the Perspective feature, simply click outside of the cube and the Grid will now be deactivated. When I click on the left side, any object that I draw will be snapped to the left plane, right will snap to the right plane, and the base will snap to the horizontal plane. Now you'll notice, as I draw, the stacking order is still honored inside of Adobe Illustrator, so don't forget you can still go to Object, Arrange, Bring Forward, or Send Back, to rearrange your Perspective objects as you draw them.
