Placing a photograph into your artwork

- [Voiceover] Alright, our first project is gonna be to create these three nameplates, the reason being that we have nameplates in the outside of our booths here at lynda.com, and notice that each one of them includes crop marks, so that I know exactly how to cut the artwork, but this could just as easily be business cards, or anything else where you wanna repeat the same thing over and over again inside of a single document. Alright, in this movie, I'm gonna show you a few different ways to place a photographic image into your artwork, and so I'll go ahead and switch over to my starter document here, and we'll start by visiting a command that we've seen in previous chapters. Under the File menu, it's the Place command, which has a helpful keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+Shift+P, or Command+Shift+P on the Mac, and now, go ahead and locate this photograph right here, notice that it's named after the photographer, a guy named Lucas Deming, and we have the Link checkbox turned on, that way…
