- Once upon a time, the letterist was responsible for setting the scene with a fancy or even a simple narrative caption. Now is that time. So we're back on the page where we created our thought balloon. Too bad it's not long for this world. We're going to have to delete it, and do what the writer wanted. Let's go back to the script. So, here in the script we see that the writer was asking for a caption. He wants Winged Victory's thoughts to appear in a narrative caption. So let's highlight that text and copy it, and remember "still," "humble," and "truth" for bolding. Back in Illustrator, I'm going to grab the Text tool, click and drag a text box, paste it in, and we see we've lost our settings. So, with it selected, I'm going to grab the eyedropper tool, just go over to some of the other text we've got, and click there, and it grabs our settings for the font, the point size, and the leading.
