- [Instructor] All right, so far we've seen how to add and subtract shapes using the Shape Builder tool. In this movie, I'll show you how to divide shapes into pieces and I'll also show you how you can marquee shapes by pressing the Shift key. All right, I'll go ahead and switch over to this version of the document. And notice I switched back to the Black Arrow tool up here at the top of the Toolbox. At which point I'm going to marquee the three shapes that are going to make up our A. So we have our two triangles drawn once again using the Polygon tool and then this rectangle. All right, now I'll go ahead and select the Shape Builder tool. And notice that in addition to dragging and you can do free form drags these days. You can also just click with the tool. So I'm going to press Control+Z or Command+Z on the Mac to undo that change and I'm just going to click in this intersection right there. And that's going to divide…
