In this movie, I'll show you how to modify your data so you…can tell Illustrator exactly which values you want to graph and which you don't.…For example, in our case and I've gone ahead and zoomed out so…we can see both the graph and the legend at the same time…The years are being graphed in black and they're so much bigger than…the light grey population values because…the population values are listed in millions.…So in other words, they're smaller…numbers in so far as illustrator's concerned.…I wan to tell illustrator to ignore the year numbers and to list those numbers on…a category axis which is the vertical axis in the case of a horizontal bar chart.…
And to do that, as well as get rid…of the legend, because I don't want that there either.…Make sure the graph is selected, then Right Click…anywhere in the document window and choose the Data command.…And that'll bring up the spreadsheet once again.…Now notice that we can't really see the legend information up…here at the top, and we have two decimal digits as well.…
