Merging Live Paint objects

- [Voiceover] Alright, now let's say we want to fill the area outside the alien, including the grass, and the sky, and so forth. Well currently we can't. Notice, if I switch back to my live paint bucket, which again I can get by pressing the k key, I can switch to this light shade of green that begins r equals 140, g equals 198, b equals 63. And then I can click inside the guy's shirt if I want to to change it. I don't, so I'll press control + z, or command + z on a Mac, to undo that change. But I can't click out here, or that is to say I can click as much as I want, but I'm not going to make any difference. And that's because there's nothing to contain the fill. And in this region, we just have open-path outlines, there is no containment whatsoever. And the solution by the way, is to draw a big rectangle around the artwork.
