Making a guide in the shape of a tree

Alright, the next task that awaits us is to paint in the foliage, that is, the leaves of the tree right here, and we're going to do that using a familiar tool, this guy, the Blob Brush. Now, if you're familiar with some of the new features inside of Illustrator CS5, you might say, hey, but wait Deke, wouldn't we be better off using the new bristle brushes, which are designed to simulate traditional art brushes? And after all art brushes are great for painting in things like foliage and clouds and hair and all kinds of other fine organic details. If I switch over to this Final tree graphic.ai file here, bear in mind that we're looking for a crisp silhouette. We're not looking for a bunch of wispy details, we want some nice firm information right here because we're creating an element and a vector-based logo essentially and that's exactly the kind of thing that the Blob Brush excels at.
