Live ellipses and pies

- [Instructor] All right now assuming you're working with the latest version of Illustrator, you have access to something known as live ellipses, and to see what they look like, go up to the View menu, and choose Show Bounding Box. At which point you are going to see the by now familiar bounding box surrounding the last selected shape. The difference is that it's not only available when the black arrow tool is active, but you're going to see it when the Ellipse Tool is selected as well, and so some of the controls are pretty familiar here. You can drag a side handle to squish the shape, you can drag the top or bottom handle in order to scale it vertically. You also have the axis of dragging the corner handle. If you want to constrain the shape proportionally, then you press the Shift key as you drag that corner handle, and then if you move your cursor slightly outside of the shape, then you'll get the rotate option, and notice, even if smart guides are turned off, you're going to see…
