- Next, we're going to take a look at the amazing top-secret comicraft layer method. If might take a little longer to set up, but ultimately this method makes the lettering job go faster. And makes balloons and tails easier to overlap and re-position later. I'll show you what I mean. Alright, this next technique I'm going to show you is top-secret so keep it quiet. It was actually invented by another comicraftsman. I can't take credit for it. Albert Deshane who's been lettering for comicraft for a long time, came up with this method of merging balloons, which you don't even have to use the path finder tool. So I'm going to show you how to do it. Let's take the balloons and tail that we've already created here and I'm gonna release which basically undoes that joining process. We're going to take all three of those balloons, select them, we're gonna copy, we're gonna paste in front. Which basically just pastes an identical copy right on top.
