- All right, now that we had our obligatory sojourn in text, let's get back to what you're supposed to be doing in Illustrator, which is illustrating. Now, so far, everything we've drawn has been something Illustrator can make for us. In the traditional realm, I can't draw an absolutely perfect circle, but the robot that is Illustrator can. But let's say you don't want to draw a circle. In fact, you almost never want to draw a circle. You want to draw any old thing you like. In which case, good news, because in all but one of the following chapters, and frankly, throughout the rest of this entire one-on-one series, that's what we're going to do.
