Inserting and deleting points on the fly
- In this movie, we'll review how you can insert and delete points inside of a path outline, using the Pen Tool. We already reviewed this technique back in Chapter Two, it was actually our first foray into the Pen Tool, but it's even more useful to insert and delete points when you're actually creating the path outline with the Pen. So, notice my White Arrow is selected. That's important because that way I can come back to it easily without any special keyboard tricks. Now, I'll go ahead and switch to the Pen Tool by pressing the "p" key, easiest way to do it. And I'll go ahead and fire up this path outline by clicking on its end point, with the Resume cursor, and now I'll add a few more points like so. And now, let's say it dawns on me that I really want a little smoother spiral going on here, so I want to add an anchor point, which I can do by clicking on a segment.
