With a bristle brush, you can get really realistic shading. I'm going to show you how to use the various bristle brushes, so you can get the most out of what you want to do. Since these brushes mimic real life brushes, if you're an artist, much of this will be familiar to you. In general, there's several categories of brushes. It'll be helpful to understand the basic brush types, and what their uses are, so you can pick or create the best brush for the job. It is worth noting that illustrator uses nontraditional names, and combines brushes in ways that traditional artists may not be used to. Getting an overview of these traditional brushes will help you when making your own custom ones. In regards to traditional brushes, we have the round brushes. These are brushes with round or pointed tips. A round brush is the most traditional brush shape, and it's what most people imagine when they think of the art paint brush.…
