- What is there to say about printing? You press Control P or Command P on a Mac, you cross your fingers, and you hope for the best. Honestly, that would be my five second, one movie description of how you print for most programs. You press some keys, you say a quiet prayer, and you wait for the results. But Illustrator is different. Eagerly awaiting you are a bunch of movies covering topics directly related to printing, many of which involve no mention of the print command. We'll start by taking a look at how you simulate colored paper stock. Then, we'll add a bleed for borderless printing. We'll take a look at the Separations Preview panel, which allows you to preview the color separations necessary to commercially reproduce the document.
