- [Voiceover] Hi there, my name is Justin Seeley, and I'd like to welcome you to Illustrator for Web Design: Image Optimization. This is the fourth course in my Illustrator for Web Design series, so if you haven't already, you might wanna go back and check out the Illustrator for Web Design: Core Concepts, Wireframing, and Aesthetics courses. This course is all about optimizing your web graphics, so that they look good on any screen or device. We'll start by covering some basic information, like web image file formats, using web safe color models, and how best to preview your images, before you export them out.
From there, it's all about saving and tweaking your images for the web. I'll show you how to use Illustrator's Safe for Web function to export JPEGs, GIFs, and PNGs. And we'll also cover how to get your artwork ready for high DPI screens. This is going to be a quick course, with a lot of information. So if you're ready, let's start learning about Illustrator CC for Web Design: Image Optimization.
