- [Voiceover] Hi there, My name is Justin Seeley and I'm a staff author here at lynda.com. I'd like to welcome you to this course on Illustrator CC for Web Design: Core Concepts. This course is the first in a series of courses that I'm building to show you how Illustrator fits into a modern web design workflow. This course will start off by covering some core concepts, including how the web has changed over time and how Illustrator fits into this new web workflow. We'll also talk about screen size versus resolution and we'll cover some basic design principles to help you create more aesthetically pleasing concepts for your clients.
From there, we're going to move onto setting Illustrator to work as a web based environment. We're also going to talk about web color and I'm going to help you understand exactly how all of the web color models work. We'll wrap things up with a chapter on responsive design and how you can create Illustrator templates for multiple devices. Let's go ahead and take a look at Illustrator CC for Web Design: Core Concepts.
