Join Justin Seeley for an in-depth discussion in this video How this series works, part of Design Challenge Monthly Series.
- This series is somewhat different from other courses you might have taken, so I wanted to take a moment to walk you through how it's gonna work. That way you can get the most out of your experience here. At the beginning of each month, a new challenge will be released. Each challenge is gonna contain three movies. First, I'll explain the problem that we're taking on and I'll give you some possible solutions to help you overcome it. Second, I'll give you the challenge. This challenge will not have a right or wrong answer. It's meant to make you think about your workflow and how you would use your creative thinking skills to solve it.
In the third movie, I'll show you how I would solve the issue. Again, this isn't the right way, this is just my way of working through it. Along the way you'll be able to post your work to social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Behance. And I'm also gonna set up a LinkedIn group for all of us to share ideas and chat with one another about that month's challenge. So, not only do you get to learn from me, but you also get to learn from your virtual colleagues from all around the world. These exercises are meant to be a fun way to give you hands-on problem solving experience.
I want you to take them seriously, but I also want you to enjoy yourself. Take advantage of the social aspects of this course. Go through the challenges with an open mind, and together we'll become better designers.
Take a step away from the grind and see where a fresh direction takes you. Tune in every month for a new opportunity to push the envelope.
