- [Voiceover] Hi, there. Welcome back to Creative Quick Tips. My name is Justin Seeley, and today I'm going to be talking about flattening artwork inside of Adobe Photoshop. You might be thinking, wait a minute now, everybody has always told me that flattening artwork is a big mistake. And you're right, in most cases, flattening your work in Photoshop is a mistake, because you lose the editability of the layers over here in the layers panel. Let me bring this out so you can see it. As you can see in this document, I have several layers inside of several layer groups. And I want to maintain all of the editability of all of these different objects. And so the best way to do that, and still have a flattened piece of artwork that I can send to somebody, is to use a keyboard shortcut. That's right, there's a keyboard shortcut to create, almost like a comp, instantly inside of Photoshop. You're going to hold down almost the entire left side of your keyboard to do this.
