Global swatch process colors

- Let's talk a look at the power of working with global process colors. On the surface process colors and global process colors appear to be the same but there's a fundamental and important difference between them. Regular process color swatches don't retain a connection to the objects that are colored with them. This fools rule illustration is almost completely colored if we take a close look at the swatches panel we'll see that there are a bunch of swatches identified as global process colors. We can tell they are global process colors by the white triangle in the lower right of those swatches. Let's color the bells on this hat. I'll select each of them with the shift key. And then dial in a gold color then I can add this color to the swatches panel by dragging it down into the swatches and that adds the new swatch. And we'll see that this swatch does not have the white triangle in the lower corner. If I double-click on the swatch it'll bring up the swatch options and I could change…
