Getting around your artwork

- This chapter is all about getting around in Illustrator. Magnifying your artwork, panning to another location, and managing your workspace. I spend a fair number of movies on this topic because there's a fair amount of stuff to know. I want you to be able to move around inside Illustrator without even thinking, because that's how everything else about the program is going to make sense. Not to mention, if you can move around Illustrator without thinking, you can focus less on the mechanics of the program and more on the task of creating great artwork. And in the end, I'll show you how to modify Illustrator's onscreen interface, known as the workspace, in order to take full advantage of this very powerful program. Watch each and every movie in this chapter, don't skip a single one, follow my advice and I promise, you'll have all the information you need to feel right at home inside the world's most powerful vector-based drawing program, Adobe Illustrator.
