- [Male] Let's take a look at how you can use Vector First Aid, to deal with missing fonts, and outline text in Illustrator files. In our example file, we have some text that was set in a font that I no longer have access to, so I get this missing font warning, when the file is opened, and since this font is not one that I can sync from Adobe Font, I need to get that font somewhere else, or replace it manually. I'll close this dialogue, and I can see the text with the missing font, in it's dreaded pink highlighting here. I'll select it with the direct selection tool, and click on the button in the Vector First Aid panel, for replacing missing fonts, and any missing fonts in the selected text, were instantly replaced with the default font, which is Myriad Pro, which I can confirm in the character panel. If I wanted to apply a different font, I can undo, and this time I'm going to hold the Option, or Alt key when I click…
