- [Instructor] All right, I'm going to wrap things up by showing you how to fill and stroke a word of type. Not because it's hard, it's actually very easy. It's just that color is the one and only character level formatting attribute that is not available in the character panel. And so I'll go ahead and switch over to this almost final document. Armed with my black arrow tool, I'll go ahead and double click on the word everything in order to switch to the type tool and position my blinking insertion marker. And then I'll double click on the word in order to select it. And I'll go ahead and click on the word character and notice that there's no sign of color whatsoever, not even if you bring up the fly out menu. Instead, what you do is what you always do. You change the fill and stroke swatches on the far left side of the control panel. And so I'm going to start off by clicking on the fill swatch and I'm going to set it to…
