Filling a region with a gradient

- [Voiceover] In this movie, I'll show you how to introduce a gradient into your Live Paint object, as in the case of this pink to white sky. Alright, so I'll go on and switch to my artwork so far. And I'm gonna zoom in on it as well so that it can take in that sky. And I'll start off by creating a custom swatch based on this shade of pink right here. The one that begins with R=237 I'll go ahead and select it and then I'll click on the little page icon at the bottom of the Swatches panel in order to bring up the new swatch dialogue box. I'll change the mode from RGB to HSB and then I'm gonna take the saturation value down to 44% in order to create this pale pink and then I'll click OK, at which point I will see the pale pink is selected here inside the Swatches panel. Alright, now, I'll go ahead and switch back to my Live Paint bucket, which, as always, you can get by pressing the K key and then I'll click inside the sky in order to fill it.
