In this movie, we'll assign a gradual fade to…our artwork, by adding a gradient to the opacity mask.…And this has to be one of the best uses for opacity masks that there is.…Press Control+0 to zoom out here a little bit, so I can take in more of my artwork.…And then, I'll go ahead and switch over to the rectangle tool.…I'll meatball the layer, like so.…And then I'll click on the thumbnail, in order to switch to the Opacity mask.…And I'll draw a rectangle about yay big.…Just so it's big enough to cover all of the layer here inside the art board.…
Now notice that my object has a stroke.…So, I'll go ahead and set the stroke to None.…And my fill is solid white as by default.…I'll go ahead and switch over to the Gradient panel here.…And you can see I have a white to black gradient as by default.…I just go ahead and click on it to apply it to my artwork.…Now, it's currently at the wrong…angle and I want to make another adjustment as well.…I'm going to go ahead and expand the Gradient panel like so.…And I'll click on the reverse gradient icon, so that the gradient starts…
