Exporting high-resolution raster files

While it's true that Illustrator is a vector-based application, there may be times when you need to export your artwork in a raster-based format, for example, something like TIFF. Of course, if this is going to be used for printing, you want to make sure that it's a high-resolution TIFF. You can do that very easily, in any document, by going to the File menu, choosing Export, and then from the Format menu here, choose the TIFF format. I'm going to click on the Export button here, and you can see that I have the ability to choose which Color model I want to use, and I could specify my own Resolution for that document.

Most likely, I want to use some form of anti-aliasing and depending on the content of my file, if I have a lot of artwork, I want to choose Art Optimized. However, if I have a lot of type, I might want to choose Type Optimized. Once I have taken those settings, I can click OK to generate a high-resolution TIFF file, which I can use for just about any application....
