Join Justin Seeley for an in-depth discussion in this video Exporting artboards, part of Illustrator: 2015 Creative Cloud Updates.
- [Voiceover] One of the most exciting features…of this release of Illustrator,…and you can probably hear it in my voice…how excited I am about it, is the all new Export features…which are heavily targeted towards app…and screen-based designers.…These are some features that I've, personally,…been wanting in Illustrator for quite some time…so I'm really happy that they are finally available.…The first new feature that we're going to talk about…is the all new Export option for Artboards.…Now, of course, we've always been able…to export out Artboards from Illustrator…but this new way of doing it gives you a level of control…we've never seen before,…so let's take a look at how we do that.…
Let's go up to the File menu here…and down in the Export menu…you will notice you have three options now,…you have Export for Screens, Export As, and Save for Web.…Save for Web is the Legacy…where you go into the Save for Web dialog box…the same way we've been doing it for, you know, decades.…And the Export As feature…is going to take you into a dialog box…
