Erasing all kinds of paths

- [Instructor] All right, now I'm going to add a background using the rectangle tool, and then I'll modify that rectangle using the eraser tool. Because the eraser can erase into any path outline that you can draw inside Illustrator. I'll also show you how to erase multiple path outlines at the same time. All right, so I want to create this background on a new layer, so I click on a template layer, and then I'll alt or option + click on a little page icon at the bottom of the layers panel, and I'll call this layer, cave, and change its color to, let's say, gold. And then click okay. All right, now, I'll zoom out, so that I can take in the red bleed boundary. You want to make sure that your smart guides are turned on here under the View menu. So, look for a check mark. And then, I'll go ahead and switch to the rectangle tool which I can get by pressing the M key. All right, now, notice that I've reinstated my default…
