Every tracing needs some polishing before you're ready to ship it. In this video, go through how to add and remove paths to your design.
- [Narrator] So far, we've come a long way…with our giraffe sketch.…We started off with something that was…on a piece of paper, cleaned it up…inside of Photoshop, and now we've brought it…into Illustrator, used the Image Trace panel…to turn it into what we see here.…And now as we see it, it's time to refine it…into its final state.…And we're going to do that first by erasing…and adding some new pads to this…to sort of clean it up and make it look…a little better.…So you'll see I have two artboards here.…One of the artboards on the left…is the one we're going to leave alone.…And it's also on its own layer called Reference,…and it's got a little lock icon next to it…symbolizing that it is indeed locked…so that I can't come over here and move it…or mess with it in any way.…
Over here we've got the Tracing layer.…The Tracing layer is unlocked,…and underneath there we have a group.…And the group here, I'm just going to double-click…and call this Opacity.…And then I'm going to create a new layer…by clicking the new layer icon,…
