- Moving on to the third panel on this page. You can see Hip Flask is getting pretty worked up. Throwing off his jacket. He means business. He's about to start wreaking some havoc. So let's see what we can do to express that with this next word balloon. Go back to the script. You can see in panel three Hip with a burst balloon says AHRR! Let's copy that. Back to Illustrator. We'll grab our previous balloon. Option drag it over. Select the old text and paste it in there. That's a pretty nice AHRR!, but it's not fully expressing the rage that's brewing behind those eyes. So let's hide our balloons for a minute. And see what we can do with this text to make it even more dynamic. So what I'm going to do is, select the text. I'm going to go to the Type menu and create outlines. What this does is it converts the type from fonts into actual vector paths. You can grab parts of the letters and move them around. Just like any object you would've drawn in Illustrator. Undo that. And what's nice…
