- [Narrator] In this last movie about brushes, I want to talk a little bit about how to modify them. I hope you've noticed that whenever you apply a brush, it applies right on the center of the path. You can see this with all the different brushes. If I apply them, they are centered directly on the path. Sometimes we don't want them centered on the path, sometimes we want the path to sit on the bottom or the top of the brush, so we can control the placement along the flat, and I'd like to show you how to do that in this video. Let's move up here off the screen a little bit. I've already deleted the lace piece that I used to make this brush, and I need access to it in order to make a new brush. It's not a problem, I can click on the brush, and just drag this add-on to my page. The thing is, it only works if you drag it on to this area outside of the art board. If you try to drag it out onto the art board, it's not going to work. So let's zoom back and get to my brush that I've put over…
