Duplicating and extending

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll duplicate the two lines that we've drawn so far, in order to create these ridges along what will ultimately be the top of the factory. And along the way, I'll show you a few different things that you can do with the black and white arrow tools. So I'll go ahead and switch over to these lines. You can see that they're both selected, but if you're working along and they're not selected for you, then you can just partially marquee them with the black arrow tool. And because I'm working with the black arrow, no matter what, I'm going to select the entire objects. Now what I want to do is move these lines, and you can do that by dragging on either one of them, like so, and so of course if you just drag them and then drop them into a new place, that's where they're going to land. There's other ways to work, however. Let's say for example, that you want to duplicate the paths. In that case, instead of just dragging and dropping, you would drag them, and…
