Drawing an iPhone

- In this movie we'll draw the face of the iPhone, which by the way is just a bunch of shapes and some text. The only exception is this stylized flower, which I created in advance. Alright, so here we are looking at the rounded rectangle that we drew in the previous movie. And I'm going to start things off by adding the screen, which I'll do using the standard Rectangle Tool once again. Which you can get by pressing the M key. I want the screen to be centered, so I'll alt + click, or opt + click at the intersection of those two guide lines to bring up the Rectangle dialog box. Now Apple advertises the iPhone 6 screen as being 4.7 inches, but that's a diagonal measurement. So the only way to figure out the exact height and width was to measure the screen. Now I did so to the nearest 16th of an inch. Now the good news is that Illustrator will do math for you, but it currently doesn't do more than one arithmetic operation at a time.
