- Vector artwork is known for its precision. Clean, crisp shapes, elegant curves, and final art used for everything, from iconically designed logo marks to immersive illustration and everything in between. Artwork created using Adobe Illustrator isn't known for being aesthetically organic and traditional. It often looks like anything but a painting or a hand-rendered illustration. But through the use of clever vector brushes derived from real-world methods, we are going to replicate the traditional results with digital ease.
In this course, I'll cover the creation, control, and usage of custom vector brushes. You'll learn how to compile them to achieve an authentic look and feel of hand-painted artwork. Creating your own custom vector brushes is easy, and once you understand how to do this, it'll also open up a whole new way of using Illustrator for you as well. So let's get started.
