(chimes) - The specific type of illustration we'll be discussing in this course is called the linear line style. Also referred to as continuous line illustration. The modern application of this style is derived from contour drawing. Picasso is a classic example of one artist that utilized the linear approach in many of his own drawings, and this style, in digital form has seen a resurgence in popularity due to its extremely adaptable aesthetic for nearly any type of business genre whether in print or animated.
In this course, I'll deconstruct the essentials for preparing your art, drawing out your design, and executing it with precission in vector form in order to create an effective linear line illustration.
