Drawing with the Pencil tool

- [Instructor] If there is one tool most closely associated with drawing historically, it would be the Pencil. When it comes to digital drawing, Illustrator has the Pencil Tool, and in this movie I'm going to show you how it works. Now, the Pencil Tool, if you go over to the Tool Palette, and it'll be under this menu, if you click and hold, you can go down, select the Pencil, and now you're ready to start drawing. Now, the Pencil Tool, I have to admit, out of all of the drawing tools in Illustrator, it's my least favorite but I want to show it to you because it's the Pencil Tool. So, right now I have black loaded into the stroke and it looks okay with black, but because it's a pencil, pencil's are usually graphite, which is like a dark gray, not completely black unless you're using like a colored pencil for example. So I like to use a dark gray. So I have these strokes pre-loaded in this file, so you can use those, or the Graphic Styles are also them as well down here. Now, I like to…
