Distort textures

- [Instructor] Another thing you can do to make cool effects with Texturino textures is to distort them so they follow the shape of vector objects in your artwork. And the way you do this is with Illustrator's envelope distort feature. Let's see how it works. Here in my file, I have this retro-looking room with a big globe light here. And I'll zoom in on that. And what I'd like to do is make this light into a disco ball with a texture. And to get the look right, I need to distort the texture so it fits the circular shape of the light. And actually, I have two copies of the light object stacked on top of one another for reasons that I'll explain later. First, I need to import the texture, which is going to be just a grid of squares.
