- [Andy] Hi, my name is Andy Needham, and welcome to my course on designing an animated app UI with Adobe Illustrator. In this course, I'll be taking you through the design of a fitness tracking app. I'll start off by showing you how to plan the app using basic concept sketches. From there, we'll take the low-fidelity wireframe sketches and use Illustrator to build the components which make up each screen of our user journey. In the course, we'll cover various aspects of working with Illustrator to build a high-fidelity mock up of our app, including setting up a project file with Artboard layouts, working with shapes, text and symbols.
We cover plenty of time-saving keyboard shortcuts to make you faster at working in Illustrator. We'll finish up by discussing how we can keep our project organized, and export files ready for prototyping. If you're ready, let's do this.
