Design using constraint angles
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at working with constraint angles. Here I have a transit map. It's based on the London Underground map. And the remarkable thing about the London Underground map is that it is constructed using 45 and 90 degree angles. So I need to add a new line to this, and I need to conform to that convention of 45 and 90 degree angles. To start with, I'm going to come to my Layers panel and create a new layer for my line. I'm going to hold down Command + Option, or Control + Alt, and click on New Layer. This gives me the option to name the new layer and put the new layer beneath my starting layer. I'll press Command or Control + Apostrophe to turn on my grid. Now I'll press P to chose my Pen tool. I want to make sure that I'm using this orange color which is the color of the new line, and I have a stroke weight of eight points. Now Command + Spacebar, or Control + Spacebar, and I'm going to zoom in to this point where my line begins. I'll click on the center point…
