Any successful sell sheet has a call to action, telling the viewer what next step to take. Using your goals as a guide, review some ways to identify your call to action.
- [Instructor] A high-impact sell sheet…should leave the viewer with a key next step…to make their purchase.…It seems simple enough,…but 70% of small businesses do not include a clear…call to action like this on their sales collateral.…While most calls to action, or CTAs for short,…can be overly simple, such as get in touch today,…or act fast, supplies are running out,…relying on a trite phrase…might fall short with your viewers.…If you're going to lead with strong content,…you need to end with strong content.…
A good CTA will encourage your viewers…to use your product or service…to make a change in their lives.…It might be funny, catchy, or even inspirational.…It should reiterate your value…as succinctly as possible…and it should clearly define next steps.…Additionally, your CTA doesn't have to include a hard sell.…In fact, if your sell sheet…is the first encounter someone has with your brand,…you might want to consider a CTA…that offers them something for free first…versus asking them to buy right off the bat.…
