- This week, I'm going to create a nice, wet countertop. Now, you might never have to do a wet countertop, but again, it's all the steps involved that are important. It's not what I'm doing, but how I'm doing it. A little modification here and there, and you get a whole different effect. So let's start off by creating the countertop itself. So I'm going to create a new layer here, which I'm going to go ahead and fill up with, let's get some colors here. So let's get a nice brown color, say, somewhere around there, like that. I'm going to go ahead and fill it, okay. Now I'm going to give it some noise, Add Noise. I click OK and I got some little brown hints here and there. And so let's pull back a little bit so we can kind of get full screen here. And now I'm going to go in there and apply one more effect. And I'm going to go in there and say, let's give it another filter, which is under the Blurs, a Motion Blur. There you could see, and I'm going to kind of streak it out even more…
