- [Narrator] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. Creating designs isn't always glamorous work. But paying attention to details and making sure your work has a high level of craftsmanship is always essential no matter what type of work you may be doing. Before I begin, I should point out that controlling and using text on a path in Illustrator is, at best, kinda clunky and non-precise. So in this movie, I'm gonna show you how I go about wrapping text on a graphic motif by using specific methods I created for myself to make the creative process easier and improve the control of text within the context of the design. So let's get started. We're gonna be using a Google Font called Anton Regular. And the whole reason I'm doing this is I can't take the font I actually use. I'll show you it because I've converted it to paths. But I can't include that font in the exercise folder for obvious reasons. It would be a violation of the ULA agreement from the foundry.
