Creating type on a path
- [Instructor] All right now I'm going to show you how to create text on a path, which allows you to curve or wave the baseline so that the text is literally following the course of a path outline. All right so I'll press Control + 0 or Command + 0 on the Mac to zoom out. And I'll go ahead and select this curving path outline right here. And I'll zoom in on it by pressing Control + Plus or Command + Plus on a Mac. All right now to create text on the path, you can click and hold on a type tool and then select the type on a path tool, but it's not necessary. So let me show you why. I'll just stick with the standard Type tool. And so notice, if I hover my cursor over this open path outline right here, that it changes to an I-beam with a dotted wave in the middle of it.
