Creating text around a circle
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to create text along both the top and bottom of a circle. Now you may well wonder what in the world a circle has to do with using the Pen tool, but the fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter what tool you use to create a path outline, and a circle just happens to be the most common form of closed path outline to which you might attach text. And so, first thing I'm going to do here is double-click on this text in order to automatically switch to the Type tool, and position my blinking insertion marker, and then I'll double-click again in order to select that word, and I'll press Control + C, or Command + C on a Mac, and then I'll press the Escape key to return to the Black Arrow tool. All right, now I'll go ahead and click and hold on the Type tool, and select the Type on a Path tool from the flyout menu, or you could take advantage of the keyboard shortcut Shift + T. And then I'll position my cursor really anywhere along the circle…
